We are a vibrant and active christian community.  We are currently making some upgrades to our facilities including a new driveway/parking lot as well as our parish hall.  Additionally, we support the Cooperating Churches of Sussex and the outreach arm Sussex Outreach Services.  We are involved in the community banquet as well.

We also have several support groups with in the church for spiritual guidance and support of the community we are in.  Our Sunday school continues to be very active and open to everyone.

We host a spaghetti dinner in the fall and a pancake dinner on Fat Tuesday each year.

Saturday, September 16th parish members of all ages turned out to put on a successful food drive to fill the shelves of the Sussex Food Pantry!! We were able to collect over 1300 items of food as well as cash donations!  The end of summer is often a difficult time for the families in our area and also a low time in donations to the Sussex Food Pantry. Our local Pick-n-Save and Piggly Wiggly allowed us to hand out flyers with a list of items the pantry currently needs most as people enter the grocery stores and then to collect the donations as the shoppers leave. The incredible generosity of the community was amazing as people often handed over not just one or two items, but bags of needed groceries.  God's blessings are abundant!!!!
